Key Differences in Print Quality and Fabric
Print Quality
Official Lethal Company merchandise uses direct-to-garment (DTG) printing or high-quality screen printing. DTG prints have a soft hand feel - you can barely feel the ink on the fabric. Fake merchandise typically uses low-grade screen printing with thick plastisol ink that feels rubbery and cracks after a few washes. Look at the edges of the design: authentic prints have clean, sharp lines; fakes often have blurry edges or misaligned colors.
Fabric and Construction
Authentic tees are usually made from 100% ring-spun cotton (around 180-200 GSM) that feels substantial yet breathable. Knockoff shirts are often thinner - 140 GSM or less - and may contain polyester blends that cause pilling. Check the collar: a genuine tee has a sturdy, double-stitched seam that holds its shape; fakes often have loose, single-stitch collars that stretch out quickly.
Tags and Labels
Official merch includes woven labels with the Lethal Company logo and care instructions that match the brand's typography. Counterfeit items may have printed tags - or no tags at all. If the tag says "S, M, L" in a generic font or includes misspellings, it is a red flag.

While the table captures the basics, some nuances matter. For example, a fake tee might feel soft at first because it is thin, but after three washes the print begins to peel. Authentic DTG prints stay vibrant for dozens of cycles. I have personally tested both side by side - the difference in hand feel is immediate once you know what to look for.
